Elephant Anatomy Study

Finished another animal study! Since this one came at the end of the semester I definitely didn't put as much effort into it as my previous dog study. The render is meh and I still want to work on it.

Premature Celebration

I am a very strong believer in the separation of turkey and trees. For whatever reason, corporate business tycoons decided that the Christmas season should officially begin the day after (and sometimes before) Halloween. Probably to boost sales or something. Well that's NOT HOW IT'S DONE. It's still Fall in November, and we still have a very important holiday, Thanksgiving, to enjoy before we go all Christmas on everybody's ass. There's a reason why Santa is at the END of the Thanksgiving parade! Now don't get me wrong, I love Christmas 100%. But keep your snowmen out of my gravy dammit.

I have illustrated my passion towards this moral dilemma with the following drawing. Please enjoy.

The Sneetches (fake) teaser poster!

I'm a production class right now and we're putting together a pitch package for a feature length animated film based on Dr. Seuss' The Sneetches. I made a teaser poster for the heck of it! Would you watch this?

Rabbits

Today was rabbit day! Here's some rabbit drawings. Yes, they were incredibly adorable.

Horses / Miniature Horses

We had full size and miniature horses in class for a couple weeks. RIP L'il Sebastian. I'm also working on drawings of the skeletal system/superficial muscles of a Przewalski's Horse.

California Academy of Sciences Trip

I'm taking an animal drawing class this semester, which has been amazing so far. I thought I'd dump some drawings I've done over the past few weeks. These first ones are from a trip we took to the Academy of Sciences. If you're able to go there I highly recommend it!

Poses and Expressions

More poses! So here's something I was working on with the Morpheus rig. I haven't really played around with him before so I decided to make him look like me, and then do some pose tests. I chose some simple emotions like sad, happy, bored, etc, and then created a situation to give it more depth. Here's some of the better ones!
